Music in the Park: ‘WAGO Connections – A Celebration of Australian, Spanish and Celtic Music’

Please join the WA Guitar Orchestra at the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre for a magical evening of classical guitar music, as part of the ‘In the Park’ spring event series. From 4:00-6:00pm, enjoy a range of classical guitar ensemble pieces, accompanied by light refreshments served lakeside during intermission. Western Australian history and nature is celebrated in The Catalpa Rescue and Nyinggulu. Unusual and very effective arrangements of well-loved classical and popular music contrast with original music by Australian composers, including two members of the Orchestra. A classical guitar concert would not be complete without the music of the Celtic world and Spain. A wonderful way to spend Father’s Day.
