The DUO MÖLLER-FRATICELLI perform more than 50 conce rts per year. They tour throughout Europe, Oceania, North and South America as well frequently appear on radio and TV. Both acclaimed soloists in their own right, their recordings of Mertz duets has been highly praised: “simply the finest Mertz I’ve ever heard…heartrending beauty” [American Record Guide]. In 2010 Johannes was awarded the first prize in the Concert Artist Competition Guitar Foundation of America (GFA), considered by many to be the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world. Today Johannes performs close to a hundred concerts per year and have a large following in China, Europe, Australia, North & South America. He is also recognised as one of the leading player-composers of his generation, creating inspiring, innovative, and eclectic solo guitar works of significant acclaim. Laura Fraticelli was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has studied with Eduardo Fernández and Zoran Dukic.
