The 2025 WA Classical Guitar (Ensemble & Solo) Festival

For the first time, guitar ensemble guru Paul Svoboda will be adjudicating at this year’s
Guitar Ensemble Festival, together with Italian guitar virtuoso and composer Ermanno
Brignolo. This makes the Festival a particularly exciting and important one. Please
remember to send your entries in as soon as possible for this unique event.

This festival is an annual event in Western Australia that is potentially the largest of its kind in
the Southern hemisphere. With a long history of presenting ensemble performance, it has also
included soloists since 2020. The festival provides a unique opportunity for guitarists to perform
in a formal yet supportive environment, fostering camaraderie, pedagogical exchange, and
cultural enrichment.
Every ensemble and soloist will receive: (1) a written report; and (2) a commemorative
certificate. Ensembles also receive a digital copy of a professionally produced audio recording of
their performance.

Payments:
 Guitar Ensemble Fees of $90 per ensemble, and $15 per soloist
 Payments must be made by COB Friday 06 June at this

festival. Late payments (after 06 June) incur a 25% additional late fee. Unpaid ensembles
may have their registration cancelled.

 Please note that the purpose of this humanitix page is to collect registration payments for
performers only. Tickets for attendance at the festival will be available at the door via
credit/debit card (no cash).
